Why So Many Meridels?

In early 2021, a search of Google Images suggested many interesting characters, across a wide range of fandoms. You want cartoon Franks? 133 million of those.  You like Jessamys, 296,000 of those suckers.  Anime Leopolds? Oh, only 1.5 million of them.

The list goes on and on:

• 3 million painted Vivianas
• 2.5 million anime Horatios
• 1 million hand drawn Alessias
• 812,000 Aminah characters
• 244,000 photographed Serafinas

But what do you get when you search on Meridel?

Clearly, this situation is untenable.  Hence, this site … nothing but Meridels.

Hopefully Google figures things out and corrects this grievous oversight.
